Privacy Policy

The official companion app for Jazz on Wick (Hackney Wick, London, Sat 5 September 2026), built by Phil Godfrey t/a Melosuite.

In short

No accounts, no login, no location and no personal data. Nothing that identifies you leaves your phone. There is no advertising and there are no tracking cookies. Visits are counted in aggregate by Cloudflare Web Analytics, and the app’s fonts come from Google Fonts (both explained below).

What is stored on your device

Everything you save in the app is kept only on your own device, in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your phone unless you share something yourself. The app remembers:

the sets you star in “My Plan”,
your light/dark theme choice,
your larger-text setting,
which venues you last filtered to,
whether you view the line-up by time or by venue,
which picks you last added to your calendar (so it can offer “add only the new ones”), and
whether you’ve dismissed the “Using the app” tips or the “add to home screen” hint.

To clear all of it, delete the app’s data or clear your browser’s site data — nothing is held anywhere else.

Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

The app uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It uses no cookies, doesn’t fingerprint your device and doesn’t build a profile of you. The numbers only ever reach Melosuite as totals. You can read how Cloudflare handles it in their Web Analytics documentation. If you’d rather not be counted, you can disable the script in your browser.

Fonts from Google

The app pulls its fonts from Google Fonts (two Google servers). Your browser fetches the font files when the app opens, so Google’s servers see a standard web request, including your IP address, as with any website that uses web fonts. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that.

Hosting

The web version is served by Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard, anonymised server logs as any web host does. Neither the app nor Melosuite collects anything beyond what is described above.

What the app is

The official companion app for Jazz on Wick 2026, made with the festival’s permission: the confirmed running order for every venue, “Now & Next”, a starred “My Plan” with calendar export, and search. Once opened, the whole day works with no signal.
